Projects

The promotion of MIA at the local level is extremely important. However, in order to effectively influence the entire education system, MIA needs to be implemented in the teacher education and social work curricula at Czech universities. MIA introductory seminars will take place at the Silesian University in Opava or at Masaryk University in Brno, and we are planning MIA courses for Opava students in the academic year 2025/2026 and beyond. We will also introduce the Method of Instrumental Awareness to mainstream and special schools in the region. Future mediators in the role of teachers and social workers will learn how to mediate, build a respectful environment and establish a relationship with students that supports their all-round development.
