Together with prominent representatives of the Bader Philanthropies Foundation and Mr. Yechiel Bar-Chaim, we recently visited a primary school in Plavecký Štvrtok near Bratislava, Slovakia. Fully segregated until a few years ago, the school, which we have been working with since 2021, is very open and progressive. It is involved in curriculum reform in Slovakia and has undergone major changes in recent years. We are glad that we could bring and still bring the Method of Instrumental Awareness here. MIA lessons, which are very supportive in the reform efforts to develop pupils' competences and skills, are currently being taught in almost all classes, and elements of MIA are also applied in the first grades and in a special class for autistic pupils. There is a pleasant atmosphere in the school, with a strong emphasis on good relations between pupils and teachers.
