The Cordaan center in Amsterdam helps young people and adults who need nursing care, personal care, or support. This organization, which provides support to 20,000 people annually, has shown great interest in the Mehod of Instrumental Awareness. ATC for Education and Development has prepared new MIA instruments in English and Dutch and has already introduced the principles of mediation, non-judgmental approach, and awareness of one's own patterns to Dutch colleagues in two courses: last year's MIA 1 was followed by MIA Elementary in October. We are delighted with the positive response and enthusiasm of psychologists, caregivers, and social workers to use MIU. Meyke ten Vergert and Katinka Hol will come to our
conference on November 21 to report on their experiences with MIA in the Netherlands so far.
